“If I look back to my way in the land where i live, and in the land that has become homeland to my heart, I am surprised and overwhelmed.
I see water pouring out from thousands of wells, water drawn from the secrets of a dry ground.; I see schools where girls are learning what will help them to live with dignity; I see hospitals, where so many people have been snatched from the jaws of insidious diseases; I see children’s eyes smiling because someone, somewhere far away, is providing them with food every day.
I wonder the reason of what happened to me. Maybe the answer is the nature of men and women who, when they are not obnubilated by evil, always try and find new ways to express their best part, giving themselves to the others.
Thus, the good willing of one adds to the good willing of many, according to the wise design of the One who holds everything and equally loves every creature, using some of them for the good of others”.
